Parties and Definitions

1.1) This Employment Agreement (the "Agreement") is made on [DATE] (the "Effective Date") between:

a) MockTech Solutions Limited, a company incorporated and existing under the laws of England and Wales with company number 01234567 and its registered office at 100 Mock Street, London, AB1 2CD, United Kingdom (the "Employer"); and

b) Mr. John Alexander Doe of 25 Sample Road, London, XY1 2ZZ, United Kingdom (the "Employee").

1.2) The Employer and the Employee are together referred to as the "Parties" and each a "Party".

1.3) In this Agreement, unless the context otherwise requires:

a) "Commencement Date" means [COMMENCEMENT DATE];

b) "Continuous Employment" has the meaning given to it in section 211 of the Employment Rights Act 1996;

c) "Confidential Information" has the meaning given in clause 13.1);

d) "Employment" means the employment of the Employee by the Employer under the terms of this Agreement;

e) "Group Company" means the Employer and any holding company or subsidiary of the Employer from time to time and any subsidiary of any such holding company (as "subsidiary" and "holding company" are defined in section 1159 of the Companies Act 2006);

f) "Intellectual Property Rights" means patents, rights to inventions, copyright and related rights, trade marks, trade names, domain names, rights in get-up, goodwill and the right to sue for passing off, rights in designs, database rights, rights to use, and protect the confidentiality of, confidential information (including know-how and trade secrets), and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered and including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights;

g) "Policies" means the Employer’s policies, procedures, rules, staff handbook and codes of conduct as amended from time to time;

h) "Workplace" has the meaning given in clause 6.1). 1.4) The headings to clauses are for convenience only and shall not affect the interpretation of this Agreement. 1.5) Unless the context otherwise requires, words in the singular shall include the plural and vice versa, and a reference to one gender shall include a reference to the other genders. 1.6) Any reference to a statute, statutory provision or secondary legislation is a reference to it as amended, extended or re-enacted from time to time and includes all subordinate legislation made from time to time under that statute or statutory provision. 2. Commencement and Continuous Employment 2.1) The Employee’s Employment shall commence on the Commencement Date. 2.2) The Employee acknowledges that no employment with any previous employer counts as part of the Employee’s Continuous Employment with the Employer, unless otherwise stated in writing by the Employer. 2.3) The Employee warrants that they are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom and shall immediately notify the Employer if they cease to be so entitled. This Agreement is conditional upon and subject to the Employee’s continuing right to work in the United Kingdom. 3. Job Title and Duties 3.1) The Employee shall be employed in the position of Software Engineer (the "Position"). 3.2) The Employee shall report to the Head of Engineering or such other person as the Employer may nominate from time to time. 3.3)
